What is PollTee and what do you specialize in?
PollTee is a specialized OEM/ODM manufacturer based in Zhejiang Province, China, focusing exclusively on campaign and promotional T-shirts. We operate two in-house production lines and serve B2B clients including government buyers, campaign organizers, supermarkets, wholesalers, and private-label brands. We do not sell directly to consumers.
Do you work with retail customers or individual buyers?
No, we are strictly a B2B manufacturer. We work exclusively with businesses, organizations, and professional buyers who require bulk quantities for campaigns, events, promotions, or resale purposes. Our minimum order quantities reflect this business model.

Why do you use polyester instead of cotton?
Polyester is ideal for campaign apparel because it's more durable, wrinkle-resistant, and cost-effective than cotton. It maintains vibrant colors longer, dries quickly, and is perfect for mass distribution events. The fabric is also more consistent in quality and sizing, which is crucial for large orders.
What sizes and colors are available?
We offer a full size range from XS to 5XL in unisex cuts. Color options include standard campaign colors like navy, red, white, black, royal blue, and gray, as well as custom colors for larger orders. We can provide detailed size charts and color swatches upon request.
Can you produce other apparel items besides T-shirts?
While our specialty and main focus is T-shirts, we can discuss other basic apparel items like polo shirts, tank tops, or hoodies for large orders. However, T-shirts remain our core competency where we can offer the best quality, pricing, and lead times.
What fabric weight do you use?

Customization & Design
What printing methods do you offer?
We offer three main decoration methods: screen printing (best for large quantities and simple designs), heat transfer (ideal for complex designs and smaller runs), and embroidery (premium option for logos and text). Each method has different cost implications and minimum quantities.
Do you provide design services?
Yes, as part of our OEM/ODM service, we can help with design development, artwork optimization, and technical specifications. We can work from your concepts, existing logos, or create new designs based on your campaign requirements. Design services are typically included for orders above certain quantities.
What file formats do you accept for artwork?
We prefer vector formats like AI, EPS, or PDF for the best quality. We also accept high-resolution PNG, JPG, or PSD files (minimum 300 DPI). If you only have low-resolution files, we can help recreate or optimize your artwork for production.
Are there any design limitations I should know about?
Design limitations depend on the printing method. Screen printing works best with 1-6 colors and simple designs. Heat transfer can handle complex, full-color designs but may have durability considerations. Embroidery is limited to simpler designs but offers premium durability. We'll advise on the best method for your specific design.
Can you print on both front and back?
Absolutely! We can print on front, back, sleeves, or any combination. Double-sided printing is common for campaign shirts - typically a logo or slogan on the front and detailed information on the back. Additional print locations will affect pricing and minimum quantities.
Do you offer private labeling services?
Yes, we provide comprehensive private labeling including custom neck tags, wash care labels, hang tags, polybags, and cartons with your branding. This service is ideal for brands, retailers, and organizations who want to present the products as their own.
Ordering Process
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 10000 pieces per design per color. For simple single-color designs, we may consider 5000 to 8000 pieces. Larger orders (200000+ pieces) receive better pricing. The MOQ ensures cost-effectiveness while maintaining our quality standards.
How do I place an order?
The process is simple: 1) Contact us with your requirements, 2) We provide a detailed quotation, 3) You approve the quote and provide artwork, 4) We create samples for approval, 5) You confirm the order with deposit, 6) We begin production, 7) Final payment and shipping. We guide you through each step.
Do you provide samples before production?
Yes, we strongly recommend and provide samples before bulk production. Sample cost is typically $50-100 per design (refundable with order). Sampling takes 5-7 days and allows you to check quality, colors, and printing before committing to the full order.
Can I get a quote without committing to an order?
Absolutely! We provide detailed quotations at no cost. Just send us your requirements including quantities, design details, colors, and delivery timeline. Our quotes are comprehensive and include all costs so you can make informed decisions.
What information do you need for a quote?
For an accurate quote, we need: quantity breakdown by size, T-shirt colors, design details (number of colors, print locations), printing method preference, delivery timeline, shipping destination, and any special requirements like private labeling. The more details you provide, the more accurate our quote will be.
Do you support phased or split deliveries?
Yes, we understand that campaigns often need inventory delivered in phases. We can split large orders across multiple delivery dates or ship to different locations. This is particularly useful for election campaigns that need products at different stages or events.
Production & Quality
What are your production lead times?
Standard production time is 15-20 business days after sample approval and deposit receipt. Rush orders can be accommodated in 10-12 days with additional charges. During peak campaign seasons (election periods), lead times may extend, so early planning is recommended.
How do you ensure quality control?
We have comprehensive quality control with in-house production lines allowing direct oversight. We inspect fabric quality, print registration, color matching, and sizing at multiple stages. Final inspection covers every piece before packaging. We also provide production photos and can arrange third-party inspections if required.
What happens if there are quality issues?
We stand behind our quality. If there are manufacturing defects or quality issues that don't meet approved samples, we will remake the products at no charge. We require quality issues to be reported within 10 days of delivery with photographic evidence. Customer-caused issues (wrong artwork approval, etc.) are handled case-by-case.
Can you handle rush orders for urgent campaigns?
Yes, we understand campaigns can have urgent deadlines. We can prioritize rush orders with 7-10 day production for an additional 20-30% charge. However, rush service depends on current production schedule and order complexity. Contact us immediately for urgent requirements.
Do you provide production updates?
Absolutely! We provide regular production updates including start date confirmation, mid-production photos, and completion notification. For large or critical orders, we can provide weekly status reports. Transparency in our production process helps you plan your campaign timeline effectively.
What certifications do you have?
We maintain relevant textile and export certifications required for international trade. Our facilities comply with standard manufacturing and safety requirements. We can provide specific certification documents upon request for compliance-sensitive orders or government contracts.
Shipping & Delivery
What shipping methods do you offer?
We offer sea freight (most economical, 20-35 days), air freight (faster, 5-7 days), and express courier (fastest, 3-5 days) depending on urgency and budget. We work with reliable freight forwarders and can arrange door-to-door delivery or port/airport pickup.
Do shipping costs include customs and duties?
Our standard quotes are FOB (Free on Board) from China, meaning you handle import duties and local delivery. We can arrange DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service where we handle all costs to your door, but this increases the price. We'll help you understand the most cost-effective option for your situation.
Can you ship to multiple addresses?
Yes, we can split shipments to multiple addresses, which is common for campaigns with regional distribution needs. Each destination will have separate shipping costs, and there may be minimum quantities per address. We coordinate timing to ensure all locations receive their products as needed.
How do you package the products?
Standard packaging includes individual polybags and export cartons. We can provide custom packaging with your branding, special carton sizes for retail distribution, or specific packaging requirements for your distribution needs. Packaging specifications affect pricing and should be discussed during quoting.
Do you provide tracking information?
Yes, we provide complete shipping documentation including tracking numbers, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists. You'll receive all necessary documents for customs clearance and tracking your shipment from departure to arrival.
What happens if products are damaged in shipping?
We pack products securely to minimize shipping damage. If damage occurs during transit, it's typically covered by shipping insurance (which we can arrange). Document any damage immediately upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours. We'll help coordinate with carriers and insurance companies for resolution.
Payment & Pricing
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are 50% deposit to start production and 50% balance before shipping. For established clients or large orders, we may offer 30/70 terms.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept wire transfers (T/T), For sample cost and shipping,we accept PayPal or Western Union. Wire transfer is most common and efficient. All banking details will be provided with your invoice. Payment must clear before we ship your order.
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing depends on quantity, design complexity, printing method, number of colors, and any special requirements. Larger quantities get better per-piece pricing. Setup costs are typically $50-200 per design. We provide detailed breakdowns showing all costs including printing, setup fees, and any additional services.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes, we have tiered pricing with significant discounts for larger quantities. Typical breaks are at 10,000, 50,000, 100,000, and 500,000+ pieces. The more you order, the lower the per-piece cost. We'll show you different quantity options so you can choose the most cost-effective volume for your needs.
Are there any hidden costs I should know about?
No hidden costs! Our quotes include all manufacturing costs, setup fees, and standard packaging. Additional costs would only apply to special requests like rush service, premium packaging, or design changes after approval. We're transparent about all costs upfront so you can budget accurately.
Do you offer credit terms for established customers?
After establishing a successful working relationship with several completed orders, we may consider extended payment terms or credit arrangements for qualified customers. This typically requires credit references, financial information, and a history of timely payments. Terms are evaluated case-by-case.
What currency do you quote in?
We typically quote in USD (US Dollars) for international clients, but can also quote in EUR or other major currencies upon request. Prices are fixed at the time of order confirmation to protect both parties from currency fluctuations during production.
